We’re All in this Together — Let’s Give Back!

I am the wife of an essential worker, the daughter of an essential worker, the sister of an essential worker, a mother of two children under the age of three and committed to a firm that I view as family.

These past few weeks have been hard, but the support and sense of community has been amazing to observe. Previous weekends spent shopping, dining out and full of birthday parties are now refocused on neighborhood walks looking at beautiful sidewalk chalk art and counting teddy bears nicely perched in our neighbors’ windows. We’ve had countless backyard picnics and scooter races in the garage. What’s clear is that we are all in this together.

How do we support our communities, neighbors, essential workers and families trying to put food on the table? How do we give back?

Whether it’s something as small as texting family and friends to check in, delivering groceries or medicine to elderly neighbors, or sharing a meal over video…it all matters. It’s meaningful.
